Open any order in your Shopify admin, click Print, and choose Pendulum invoice. A branded invoice renders right inside Shopify's print preview. Continue to print to send it to your printer or save it as a PDF, with your theme colors intact.
Where to find it
- Go to Orders in Shopify admin and open any order.
- Click the Print button in the order detail header.
- Select Pendulum invoice from the menu.
- The branded invoice appears in the preview. Click Continue to print.
What is on the invoice
- Your company block: name, full address, and phone, pulled from your Brand Settings.
- Bill To and Ship To: the customer name, full billing and shipping address, and email from the order.
- Line items and totals: exactly what Shopify recorded for the order, including tax and shipping.
- Your branding: the logo, theme, and accent colors you set in Brand Settings, the same look as your emailed invoices.
Older orders
This works for any order, including orders placed before you installed Pendulum. The invoice live-reads the order, so the Bill To, Ship To, and totals always match what is on the order right now.
How this differs from the emailed invoice
The emailed invoice is what your customer receives automatically. The order-page print action is for you: a quick branded copy for your records, a packing slip you hand off, or a document a customer asks for after the fact. Both use the same branded engine, so they look the same.
